Returning to D. H. Hamner Park for its 44th year on May 20, 2017, the Arley Day Festival will present a day of free family fun for festivalgoers of all ages. The annual event features a car show, parade, 5K run, pancake breakfast, carnival rides, live entertainment, games, craft vendors and more. Festival hours are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Presented by the Arley Women’s Club, the Arley Day Festival appeals to all ages. The 5K Run gets the fun started with registration at 6 a.m. and the race beginning at 7 a.m. For those arriving hungry, the pancake breakfast will be held at the Arley Fire Station beginning at 7 a.m. Vendors will be up and running at 8 a.m. and the cruise-in parade begins making its way down the street at 8:30 a.m. with the car show opening at 9 a.m. Entertainment throughout the day will be offered by local entertainers and there will be carnival rides, cornhole and other games in a laid back atmosphere.
