Located at Exit 447 on I-40, Smoky Mountain Outdoors provides shuttles from our Riverside Outpost in Hartford, TN as well as first-aid and CPR trained guides and all rafting equipment upstream for a 6.5 mile Class III and IV whitewater adventure, or from a downstream take-out for a 5.5 mile Class I and II scenic float trip.  Our Outpost features changing rooms, showers, casual dining options, souvenir photography, and a wide array of gifts and apparel.

New in 2015:  The Pigeon River Campground adjacent to Smoky Mountain Outdoors offers riverside camping, rustic camping cabins, rv sites, a pool, wifi, camp store, and private put-in/take-out.

How to Get There

I-40 to Exit 447 at Hartford, TN.  Turn right off the exit and proceed 1.1 miles to the last Outpost on the left.  Look for a sign between two rock columns with the words "Whitewater Rafting with Smoky Mountain Outdoors"
