Bicentennial Mural in the town of Tishomingo Mississippi

The bicentennial mural was painted in 2017 by a group of students under the direction of educators, Cindy Nelson and Tony Bullard (local artist).  Attached file has detail on the process and pictures of the progress, credit to Cindy Nelson.  Visitors are encouraged to have their picture taken before the mural and to post said picture on Facebook.

From US Hwy 72, take the Iuka exit and proceed South on MS Hwy 25.

At the town of Tishomingo, find the mural at the four-way stop.

This is such an interesting mural. I found it by accident en route to Tishomingo State Park, which is a fantastic place to stay and play. What a jewel of a place!
