Located on Kentucky Lake, Birdsong Resort, Marina and Campground is 53-acre recreational complex offering 26 rental cottages, a community center, swimming pool, playground, covered-slip marina, launching ramp, handicap accessible fishing pier, ship's store, boat sales and service, shaded area for tents, and concrete pull-thru sites for RVs.
The resort is ideal for an overnight stop, weekend getaway or a week stay. Boredom is not an option as amenities include camping, fishing, boating, swimming or simply enjoying the serenity and beauty of nature's offerings. In addition to the outdoor amenities, Birdsong is also the home of America's only site of pearl culturing - the Tennessee River Freshwater Pearl Farm.
Lodging Style and Amenities
Twenty-six rental accommodation units, ranging from cottages to manufactured homes are available to choose from throughout the resort. All units are fully furnished with furniture and have A/C, pots, pans, dishes, dishwashing detergent, silverware, towels, linens, pillows, blankets, soap, color TV, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, in bathroom hair dryers, stove, refrigerators, outside picnic table and barbecue grill.
For those into camping, over 50 RV pads (most concrete, some pull-thru) are available overlooking the river. All sites have 20/30/50 amp electrical, water, and some with sewer. There is also a cool and shady grass tent area located directly at the water's edge with community electricity and water.
The resort is located 9 miles north of I-40 at Exit 133, halfway between Jackson and Nashville.
