How to Get There

From Cleveland, Tennessee, take US 64 East into the Cherokee National Forest. Go past the Ocoee Whitewater Center.  Boyd Overlook is about 1.5 miles on your right.

I travel through Tennessee, Georgia and North Carolina a good bit because I love the mountains but Boyd Gap Overlook is always a must stop place whenever we are traveling through. It also happens to be one of the most beautiful in my opinion and we love it so much that my fiance proposed there! It will always be a very special place for us.

It would have been much nicer if maintained. There was a lot of flora blocking much of the view.
