This 200-year-old cabin was moved to its current location many years ago. The previous owner of the property was the only area doctor and the cabin was traded to him for medical services. The cabin was used for storage and had no electricity or plumbing. Its porch swing overlooks a wildflower garden just a few steps away from Roaring Fork Creek in Gatlinburg.

Locally or Family Owned Business Notes
The Carr Family has operated its eight-acre site for many years and is now in the third generation. In 2011, we celebrated 71 years of business. Although much of Gatlinburg has changed, Carr's remains much the same as it has always been—affordable family accommodations (most with kitchens). We have several families that have been staying with us for well over 50 years.
