Carver's Orchard

This orchard began in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Family owned, this is a popular place especially in the fall. Lots of locally grown produce including many varieties of apples, pumpkins, squash, and tomatoes. You can also find jellies, jams, home-made fried apple pies and cider. Excellent restaurant on site - Chicken and Dumplings and Apple Cider Barbecue! Breakfast anytime. Enjoy your meal in the midst of the orchard. Open 8am - 8pm seven days a week. Make sure to stop in at Krafts and Kandy for the best local candy and handmade crafts around. Clean restrooms. Free parking for all.

Really good food at the restaurant. Great apple fritters. And you cannot beat the fresh produce.

please post the board that tells us what the names of apples and when they are in. We are regular shoppers for many years. Just can't remember those dates.

Neita Cunningham, 9/26/2015

Neita - we are working to find the chart of apple names and dates. Once we have found it, we will be able to link it to you in order for you to see it. In the mean time, their Facebook page ( is full of fun photos and information about the apples they now have in season.
