TVA'S Cherokee Dam Campground is located in Jefferson City, TN on the upstream side of the Cherokee Dam. The campground has a total of 44 campsites with 4 sites being ADA accessible. All campsites are equipped with water and electric, except for 5 primitive tent-only sites on the eastern front end of the lake. In the center of the campground, two bathhouses provide hot showers and flushing toilets.
There are other recreational opportunities near the campground, including, swimming, boating, and hiking. An easy Cherokee Cross Country Trail provides spectacular views of the Cherokee lake and Cherokee Dam. Bring your whole family for the day to enjoy our picnic pavilions! Waste dumb station is located on the south eastern end of the campground, near campsite 44. Place all trash in dumpsters except fish debris. Please contact the campground host on duty for pick up and disposal of fish scraps. Dumping waste or gray water onto the ground is prohibited
Pet Friendly Notes
Only 2 pets per campsite are allowed and must be on a leash or caged at all times. Pets are prohibited on beach, adjacent picnic areas and inside bathrooms. Owners must pick up after their pets.
