Cohutta-Chattahoochee Scenic Byway

Start your adventure on the Cohutta-Chattahoochee Scenic Byway and travel the 54 mile route while taking in the scenery of beautiful Northwest Georgia.  Along the way you can visit the last capital of the Cherokee at Red Clay State Park, as well as the Cohutta Fisheries Center, the C.E. Blevins Avian Learning Center, Prater's Mill, Fort Mountain State Park and the Chattahoochee National Forest. This is North West Georgia at its finest.

Driving Directions

From I-75 Exit 341.  Take GA Hwy 201 East, turn right on GA Hwy 2 and travel 1.5 miles, turn left on GA Hwy 71 travel north 4 miles to Hopewell Road on your left - begin Scenic Byway
