Locally or Family Owned Business Notes
The property is owned by the Corps of Engineers as part of the Bay Springs Lake Recreation Center. It was formerly leased to a consortium of colleges (as The Crow’s Neck Environmental Education Center) who were increasingly unable to utilize and fund the project. In 2011 the facility closed, but was reopened in 2013 as an independent non-profit corporation.
