Englewood Textile Museum - Women:Then & Now

This museum tells the story of the lifestyle of women within the southern textile mill town of Englewood.  Photographs and memorabilia dating back to 1916 adorn this musuem as it pays tribute to the women of the textile industry.  Visitors can see some of the machinery, fabric and clothing styles of the early 1900's.

This is such an interesting museum. I recommend it to anyone that loves to explore the history of small town America and how towns sustain their heritage. The organization that keeps the museum active is a dedicated group of individuals. We need more like them! Go and enjoy!
