At the Florence Indian Mound Museum, see relics dating back 10,000 years and walk through the main periods of time beginning with the paleo people. The prehistoric domicilliary mound rises 43 feet high, the highest in the Tennessee Valley. The museum houses a large collection of American Indian relics found in area, with chronological displays and explanations of artifacts from Paleo to Historic periods.
