Honey Comb Small Wild Area Trail

Honey Comb Trail is located on Guntersville Reservoir in northern Alabama. There are five bluff overlooks on this trail and lots of opportunities to explore the lake’s edge – watch for bald eagles and ospreys. There are also ample opportunities to dip your toes in one of the many spring-fed creeks. Look for signage to explain the historic significance of this area.

Amenities: parking, hiking, biking, camping allowed.

Hunting permitted in area off TVA dam reservation land only.

How to Get There

Trail is located off of HWY 431 about 26 miles south of Huntsville, AL or 18 miles north of Guntersville, AL at Guntersville Dam. Secondary trailhead is located just before entering Honeycomb Campground on HWY 431.
