Jackson County Park Campground & Marina

Located on beautiful Lake Guntersville in Scottsboro, Alabama, Jackson County Park is the ideal place for a peaceful, relaxing break. Jackson County Park offers both RV camping and primitive tent camping. The RV spots located inside the gated area are both on and off the water with a beautiful view of the Lake. All transient spots have full hook-ups which consist of 30/50 amp service, water, cable, sewer and Wi-Fi. The primitive tent spots can be on or off the water with access to a bathhouse. We also sell propane for quick fill-ups of tanks. Free uncovered boat slips are available for the campers giving them quick access to the water.

The park has something to offer the outdoor enthusiast as well as the avid shopper. Sitting only four miles from the Tennessee River channel, it is the perfect spot for the eager fisherman, duck hunter, boater, swimmer, or water skier. The park has a swimming area, covered handicapped-accessible fishing pier, as well as many ideal spots along the shoreline for fishing. For the shopper, there are some well known chain stores as well as many local shops, and the world famous Unclaimed Baggage Center in Scottsboro.The park is only a short drive from both Huntsville and Chattanooga. Plenty of well known restaurants and hometown eateries are just minutes from the park.

Driving Directions

Conveniently located between Huntsville and Chattanooga. Heading East on Highway 72 turn right on County Park Road in Scottsboro. Park is at the end of the road.
