Orbix Hot Glass

Located at the edge of Little River Canyon National Preserve is Orbix Hot Glass where children (five years and older) and adults can design and blow a keepsake ornament.  The glass blowing studio and gallery also offers classes where families can experiment together with creating their own piece of artwork and learning more about molten glass.

The gallery offers for sale one-of-a-kind creations, including platters, pitchers, vases, ornaments, and candy dishes, by owner/artist Cal Breed and his assistants.

Gallery Hours are Tuesday through Friday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.  (Closed on Sundays and Mondays.)

Orbix Hot Glass artists typically blow glass Tuesdays through Fridays (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.) and Saturdays (10 a.m. to 2 p.m.).  Glass blowing is open to the public, however, there are times when the level of focus for  artists is extremely high and for success of the piece and safety for everyone viewing will be closed to the public.

On Saturdays, the public is invited to design and literally “blow” your own ornament with the help of one of our glass artists.
