Located on the beautiful and serene Clinch River in rural Hancock County, Kyles Ford boasts diverse wildlife and recreation opportunities, scenic vistas and an escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. River Place on the Clinch enables guests and visitors to experience this peaceful area by offering cabin rentals, canoe rentals, a retreat center, local goods and gifts, southern home cookin', campsites, festivals, local music and more! After one visit, you'll be dying to come back for more of our daily specials in the cafe, Friday Steak Nite or homemade pie. For a longer stay, our low-impact rustic cabins overlooking the river offer the perfect cozy getaway for family and friends or a comfortable stay for the avid sportsman. Larger groups can utilize our Conservation Center and Retreat, offering lodging for up to 21 guests as well as a large meeting room with presentation capabilities.

Areas of Service and Expertise

River Place is situated on the Kyles Ford Wildlife Management Area, an ideal setting for fishing, hunting, bird watching and other outdoor opportunities. Bait and tackle, camping supplies and recreation supplies are available at the market. Camp sites are available along the river for an extended stay, as well as cabins, including our popular "Fishing Hole" cabin right on the river 4 miles off of Highway 70.

Canoe and other boat rentals are available as well, including shuttle service.

Types of Experiences and Trips Provided

River Place rents canoes, funyaks, rafts and tubes in the store and provides shuttle services to access points anywhere from 2 miles up the river to full day trips. Call the store or come by for more information. Rentals subject to seasonal availability and weather conditions. 24 hour advance reservation required (call to reserve).

Canoe or kayak: $30 / day

Raft: $50 / day

Tube: $20-25 / day
