Every Friday night, bluegrass, and mountain music lovers and players get together at Rocky Branch Community Club for jam sessions and concerts. There are highly talented musicians, but beginners are also very welcome.
Acoustic musicians play guitars, banjos, fiddles, mandolins, dobros, and bass from about 6:30 p.m. until about 10:00 p.m., sharing tunes and songs, and entertaining the crowds who come to hear authentic bluegrass, gospel, and old time music. Ham, beans, and cornbread, plus drinks and desserts are available from the kitchen. Stage performances as well as the jam sessions take place regularly. Benefits for local people and causes bring in community support. Donations are welcome to help keep Rocky Branch open.
