One of Huntsville’s most beloved holiday events brings the magic of the holiday season to life each year when the Alabama Constitution Village transforms into a magical wonderland complete with reindeer, elves, snow and the jolly old man himself. Santa’s Village begins welcoming visitors on Friday following Thanksgiving and runs nightly from 5 to 9 p.m. until December 23, 2017.
At Santa’s Village, the faces of both children and adults light up at the sight of Santa’s reindeer, North Pole elves, and the nightly snow shows. Watch Santa’s Magic Garden come to life with talking and singing Christmas trees. The jolly old man himself will be on hand each night to listen to children as they share their wish lists. Additional family-friendly activities adding to the whimsical fun include making crafts in the Toymaker’s Workshop, visiting the Claus’ house, mingling with costumed characters, enjoying musical entertainment on the Tinsel Tunes Stage and shopping in Santa’s gift shop.
Santa’s Village is in downtown Huntsville and is hosted by the EarlyWorks Family of Museums. Proceeds are used to fund educational operations, exhibits and field trips to the museums for disadvantaged students.
