Strawberry Festival

A berry delicious event is set to take place the first weekend in May in downtown Moulton, Alabama. Hosted by the Jesse Owens Runners’ Club, the annual Strawberry Festival offers two days of free family fun, plenty of strawberries, live music and much more.

While the strawberry and its sweet berry bliss takes centerstage, the family-friendly event also offers free inflatable activities for kids, the Lawrence County Fire Fighters and Rapid Response Volunteers truck display, a classic car/truck/motorcycle show, arts and crafts, a mud volleyball tournament, a dog show, a beauty pageant, a 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run, cornhole toss contest, a benefit auction and live music. Festival hours are 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday. Proceeds benefit the Jesse Owens Runners’ Club and local schools.
