The Weatherford Library

Opened in 1974 in the R.V. Waldrep house.  Moved into the old Medical Clinic in early 1980 while a new building was being constructed on the lot where the house was torn down that housed the first Library in Red Bay Alabama.  Dr. Z.L. Weatherford donated $100000.00 to construct the new library building.

How to Participate

Approximately 12,000 books of fiction and non-fiction geared to adults, juveniles and children.  In addition to this we also have reference section.  Also, we offer 12 current magazine publications for checkout.  We have 6 public computers, along with a printer, copy machine and fax machine, to offer services to the public.
