Our Festival began 41 years ago here in Cadiz Trigg County. It began as a celebration of Country Hams and preservation of them. It was a small fair and 42 years later has become a 200+ vendor festival with great music, which is free to the public. We have 4-H and Extension Office Exhibits, Hog Calling Contests, Champion Hams being judged and a Quilt Show by our local quilters. We have a wonderful carnival down at West Cadiz Park. We have Racing Pigs, Pony Rides and a Petting Zoo and so much more. We have food, food and more food! It is a family friendly festival. Rain or shine we are here.

Interests and Areas of Expertise
Cadiz has a great Historic Downtown District. On the east end is the City Cemetery and on the west is the West Cadiz City Park which sets on the Little River. Cadiz has 5 Antique Malls. The Janice Mason Art Museum has a different exhibit about every 6 weeks and a wonderful gift shop. We have 3 specialty shops along with Reva's Place and the Cabin Coffee Café which is a wonderfully refurbished log cabin. We have 2 churches and 3 event centers along with a music hall on Friday's & Saturday's.
The antique shops will bring back many memories as you meander through them. Fairholme House is an historic home which one can tour and have events. The Cabin Coffee Café has wonderful drinks, Cadiz Antique Mall has an Ice Cream Shop that is definitely worth stopping by and checking out. The specialty shops have unique items to our community and one will find that perfect item to take home with them.
#JustImagine is our tag line which we find very fitting. Just Imagine strolling along Main Street peering into the shop windows to draw you in. Just Imagine spending time making memories in our quaint town, meeting the friendly people in our area. We have many events to attend during the year. We have a popular Farmer's Market, Monthly Cruz In's, Music, Movement and Arts in the Park, Dining on Main in April, Music Fest in August, Trigg County Country Ham Festival in October, Christmas Night Parade and events along with Christmas in the Park in December. Music every weekend at Lakeland Jamboree and every Thursday music at the Cabin Coffee Café. Needless to say that we love music!
