Vonore Heritage Museum

On display are artifacts used by the people of Vonore from the late 1800s through the 1950s. Artifacts include Civil War pieces; WWI and WWII uniforms; trophies; plaques; and pictures from the now-closed Vonore High School.

Vonore Heritage Museum is filled with memorabilia from the past that defines what life in Vonore was like way back when. On display: miniature replicas of Ft. Loudoun and a pioneer homestead, farm tools and implements, kitchen items and a wood fired cook stove, many items from the Vonore schools and other local memorabilia from the citizens of Vonore.

A gentleman, living this side of Atlanta, has contacted us about an antique display case in great condition that he wants to give away for “Free”. It is original wood with brass trim 8 feet long.
