Welcome Valley Village has five log cabins on a beautiful 17 acre property along Tennessee's Ocoee River. The property, located in the heart of the white water rafting community, has hiking trails, a swimming dock, basketball court, horseshoe pit, playing field, fishing, swimming, and a wide variety of native trees, shrubs, and wildflowers. The owners have tastefully supplemented nature's beauty with flower beds, hammocks, and trails connecting all cabins and the riverside pavilion. In over 18 years of operation, the village has played host to numerous families, couples, weddings, corporate retreats, and family reunions. This is without a doubt the Ocoee Region's finest lodging facility. Located less than one hour from Chattanooga.
Guests enjoy hiking and mountain biking on the premises and in the Cherokee National Forest just three miles away. Whitewater rafting is a popular favorite for guests with opportunities for a guided rafting trip on Tennessee's Ocoee River, home of the 1996 Olympics whitewater paddling events. The Hiwassee River is just 20 minutes away and offers a gentler rafting experience and great trout fishing. Tubing is also available on the "lower" Ocoee. Rent a pontoon boat on Lake Ocoee for the day, just 10 minutes away. Nearby rafting companies also offer zip-lines, climbing facilities, and paintball.
