West Hill Cemetery

Dalton's oldest and largest cemetery is home for the Civil War era Confederate Cemetery as well as many historic figures and local luminaries.  Free Walking Tour Brochures are available at the Dalton Freight Depot Visitor's Center at 305 S. Depot Street in Downtown Dalton (after-hour brochures can be found in the rack beside the door) or the Tunnel Hill Heritage and Visitor's Center in Tunnel Hill, Georgia.  Yearly Ghost Tours are hosted each summer.

How to Get There

I-75 Exit 333, go east on Walnut Avenue for approximately 2 miles, turn right on Thornton Avenue and then left on Cuyler Street, go 4 blocks west and the streeet ends at the main gate to the cemetery.
