Want to plan a mountain getaway?

Windrock Park is one of East Tennessee’s premier campgrounds.  Located in Oliver Springs, Tennessee, the park is located on 259 acres with picturesque views of the surrounding mountains.  Offering a diverse set of camping areas, visitors can hook up RVs, bring a tent or stay in a cabin.  With access to 250 miles of marked OHV trails you are sure to have a wonderful time.  

RV Sites

There are 39 available RV Sites in the park.  These sites include water, sewer connection, electricity, concrete patios, picnic tables, fire rings and bath house access.  There are full hookups provided with 30, 50 and 110 amps.  The rates for the RV sites range from $38 per night with two people to weekly RV rates of $225 plus tax.  Windrock Park also has the option of leaving your RV for months at a time with a monthly rate of $350.

Cabins

There are 10 cabins available in the campground.  They can sleep up to four people at $100 per night.  There is a weekly cabin rate of $630 plus tax.  Cabins are furnished with two bunk beds, kitchenette and bathroom with shower.  Fire rings are also provided.  Linens and towels are not provided.

Primitive Bunkhouse

The Bunkhouse is the latest edition to Windrock Park. Do you want to camp, but stay dry? Do you want to lock up your things while you are riding? The Bunkhouse offers a locking door, a double and two twin platforms for air mattresses, a picnic table and a fire ring. The rates for the Bunkhouse range from $50 per night with four people to weekly RV rates of $300 plus tax.

Primitive Camping

There are primitive camping sites and they all have fire rings, picnic tables and access to the bathhouse.  Rates are $16 per night for two people to a weekly rate of $100 plus tax.  Each additional person over 15 years of age is $3 per night.

Want to go for a ride?

 The Coal Creek OHV Area is 72,000 acres of off road fun and located just 2 miles from Windrock Park via the Connector Trail.  Hundreds of off-roaders can be found every weekend enjoying the trails.  A Land Use Permit is required for each person entering the Coal Creek OHV Area.  The trails are open to everyone and just about any type of vehicle.  ATV’s, motorcycles, mountain bikes, Jeeps, buggies, trucks all enjoy some of the best off-roading in the country. Driving Directions

Traveling I-75 north from Chattanooga:

Take exit 376A (Hwy 162N) to Oak Ridge. Hwy 162 will merge with Hwy 62 in Solway. Follow Hwy 62 west through Oak Ridge (Hwy 62 is also named Illinois Ave. in Oak Ridge) to the intersection of Hwy 95 (also named Oak Ridge Turnpike). Follow Hwy 62 into Oliver Springs 4.5 miles to a traffic light with a Food City Grocery Store on the right. Continue on Hwy 62 one mile to Windrock Road, just past the Oliver Springs overpass. Turn right on Windrock Rock Road and travel .5 mile to Windrock Park Lane on the right.

Traveling I-40 east from Nashville:

Take exit 356 (Gallaher Road/Oak Ridge Highway). Turn left onto Highway 58 (Gallaher Road) toward Oak Ridge. Proceed approximately 14.4 miles to the intersection of Highway 95 (also named Oak Ridge Turnpike). Turn left onto Hwy 62 into Oliver Springs 4.5 miles to a traffic light with a Food City Grocery Store on the right. Continue on Hwy 62 one mile to Windrock Road, just past the Oliver Springs overpass. Turn right on Windrock Rock Road and travel .5 mile to Windrock Park Lane on the right.

Take I-40 west to exit 376A (Highway 162N) to Oak Ridge. Hwy 162 will merge with Hwy 62 in Solway.
